Following are the foods that are most fattening. These foods are artery-blocking food. We should not indulge in them regularly.

French Fries

French fries itself is not healthy food. When topped with high-fat cheese curds and doused in a salty gravy, the fries gets onto very high level of fattiness.


There is usually too much butter French cuisine. It is no different for aligot. It contains cream, mashed potatoes, butter, garlic and cheese.


Churros originated from Spain. These are fried doughnuts that are dipped in cinnamon and sugar. Usually people dip them in chocolate as well. In Spain, people have them for breakfast often.

Jalebi is one of fattiest food in India. It’s a food that gets deep-fried first and then sweet bathed   in syrup.

Processed meats are usually salted and smoked. High intake of processed meat is linked with obesity and enhanced risks of heart disease and cancer. Pizzas that contain healthy ingredients such as whole grain and vegetables are not bad. For pizza lovers, making pizzas with healthy ingredients is a good idea.

Cookies and Doughnuts

Doughnuts and cookies contain high amount of refined flour, sugar and added fats. They are too high in calories, intake of which should be limited to keep weight in check. Doughnuts should be avoided as much as possible for optimal health and weight. For cookies, we should go for only a small and single serving.

Peanut Butter

Peanut butter that is commercially made, contains hydrogenated vegetable oils, added sugar and loads of salt. Peanut butter is too high in calories and very easy to be over-consumed. Over-eating of peanut butter is problematic.

Most commercially made white and milk chocolate are high in added sugar and fat. They are very easy to over-consume.    

Fruit Juice

Fruit juice is considered to be healthy by many. However, commercial brands are too high in sugar and lack fiber and other nutrients contained in whole fruits. Over-consumption of fruit juice is linked to obesity, particularly for children.  Unsweetened and hundred percent fruit juice is all right. However, portion size should be no more than 150 ml per day.
