AB Workouts Bodybuilding

Bodybuilding is a long strenuous process. It needs time to achieve desired goals. You have to follow a certain diet and workout schedule for attaining a toned body. Particularly when you are aspiring to build abs you need to give special attention workout plan. Only a well planned diet is not enough for building abs. you have to combine both of them strategically.

As you know that abs is the most difficult part to workout. So it has to be in proper way. Normally abs workouts consist of three parts upper abs, lower abs and side abs. Many people don’t get result consequently they become frustrated. This is because they don’t know the proper system of performing workouts. I personally focus on the form and position. If you don’t concentrate on form and position then doing workout is of no use. You have to learn proper form and position to perform certain workouts otherwise it will be waste of time.

Few abs workouts for bodybuilding

Here I am giving few workouts idea that certainly give you result if performed properly.

Abs workout 1

  • Oblique twist with barbell plate. 4 sets of 12 reps
  • Sit-ups with barbell plate on chest. 4 sets of 12 reps
  • Leg raise with dumbbell. 3 sets of 12 reps

Abs workout 2

  • Ab crunches on chest with medicine ball. 3 sets of 12 reps
  • Ball site ups with dumbbell. 4 sets of 12 reps.
  • Cable oblique twist. On each side 2 sets of 12 reps

Abs workout 3

  • Raising legs with resistance band. 3 sets of 12 reps
  • Floor plank. 3 sets
  • Medicine ball throw

Abs workout 4

  • Bench abs crunches with dumbbell. 3 sets of 12 reps.
  • Floor leg raise with resistance band 3 sets of 12 reps.
  • Decline bench site ups. 4 sets of 12 reps

Abs workout 5

  • Side bends with barbells 2 sets of 12 reps
  • Abs crunches with machine. 3 sets of 12 reps
  • Hanging leg raising with dumbbell. 3 sets of 12 reps

Keep an important thing in your mind that take very short rest between the sets. It will help you to gain your desire abs within a very short period of time. Try to perform every abs workouts orderly as I have given. I am sure if you can do it properly then you will build your abs as want quickly.
